The 65th White River Water Carnival Concerts

The 65th White River Water Carnival will feature rock groups as well as country and bluegrass acts this weekend at Riverside Park, One Riverbank Road, Batesville. The event begins this evening, with gates opening at 5 p.m. and the first band, Lost Endd, will play at 6., followed by Mayz End at 7, Dog House at 8 and Night Ranger, the headliner, at 9. Tickets are $15 for advance general admission, $20 for advanced reserved seating and an additional $5 each for admission at the gate. All concerts will be on the Amphitheatre Stage. Saturday's musical lineup starts at 6 p.m. with country newcomer Ashton Shepherd, followed by bluegrass stalwarts Ralph Stanley and the Clinch Mountain Boys, concluding with veteran country crooner Earl Thomas Conley. Tickets for Saturday's show are $15 for advance general admission, $25 for advance reserved seating and an additional $5 each for admission at the gate. Children under age 12 will be admitted free to the concerts.
