Prostate Cancer PEER NETWORK
The APCF PEER NETWORK is a safe and confidential environment of prostate cancer survivors to talk freely about the different emotions you experience as you progress through the phases of survivorship*. If you are newly diagnosed, our network of survivors may help you sort out your concerns, ask questions of your health care team, and understand your treatment plan. After treatment, you may encounter physical, emotional and practical changes such as issues with employment, lifestyle changes, and health insurance. Our PEER NETWORK can help you find and evaluate resources, encourage you to maintain healthy behaviors, and learn ways of dealing with challenging situations. A Survivor-Mentor is available by calling 1-800-338-1383.
