The Baxter County Master Gardeners is preparing for its 17th Annual Gardening Seminar, "Developing an Ozarks Green Thumb", slated for March 5. The Seminar will be at the Redeemer Lutheran Church Family Life Center, 312 W. North Street in Mountain Home. It is open to the public and offers horticultural education useful to gardeners of all skill levels. It will be from 8:30 am until 3:00 pm. Speakers and topics for the event include: . Lucinda Reynolds - Becoming a Better Gardener . Tina Marie Wilcox - Easy Herbs . Matthew Holderfield - Gardening with Mother Nature . Bob Byers - General Landscape Design . Kevin Pieper - Connecting with Nature Registration for the event is required, and there is limited seating. The seminar cost is $15, and an optional lunch is available for an additional $5.
