Conducting the choir will be Dr. Alan Raines, a highly sought-after guest artist and clinician who serves Baylor University as the Mary Gibbs Jones Professor of Music and Director of Choral Activities. He holds a B.M. degree from Valparaiso University and M.M. and D.M.A. degrees from UCLA, where he was Assistant Conductor of the Angeles Chorale. Dr. Raines joined the Baylor University faculty in the fall of 2009.
