Wagner’s Götterdämmerung to continue Met series at UCA


The opera, sung in German with Met titles in English, German and Spanish, will be aired in high definition in the Donald W. Reynolds Performance Hall on the University of Central Arkansas campus. Running time is approximately five hours, 50 minutes with two intermissions.

According to www.metoperafamily.org, Deborah Voigt stars as Brünnhilde and Jay Hunter Morris is Siegfried — the star-crossed lovers doomed by fate. Fabio Luisi conducts the Robert Lepage production. Set design is by Carl Fillion, with costumes by François St-Aubin and lighting by Etienne Boucher.

Approximately 200 seats are available for each performance at UCA. General admission tickets are $15 for the public and $5 for students with valid I.D.
