Vago
Omaha indie Americana band Vago returns to Arkeansas when they hit the road in February behind it's 4th studio release, "Cemetery Hill." The band has been nominated for an "Omaha Entertainments and Arts Award" for the category of Best Rock Band (winners not yet announced). The Winter tour brings them back to Texas, Arkansas, and Missouri, and into new the new waters of New Mexico, Arizona, and California.
Vago is a three piece band from Omaha, NE, rooted in the alt-rock tradition of artists like Bob Mould, Cracker, and Elvis Costello, sprinkled with elements of Americana and modern post-punk. Having shared the stage with Roger Clyne, Tommy Stinson, Will Hoge, Cursive, Desaparecidos, Bright Eyes, and more, Vago has made their mark in the Midwest as a prominent staple of Indie capital's scene.
Catch Vago in Hot Spring's at Maxine's, Saturday, February 4th with John Paul Keith & The One Four Five's from Memphis, and in Little Rock Saturday, February 18th at Vino's.
