Eighth Annual Midsouth Summit Black Expo

The Eighth Annual Midsouth Summit Black Expo, presented by the Cancer Control Program at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS), will celebrate black history month with a family-friendly event highlighting the importance of cancer screenings and education.

Admission is free. For information, call the UAMS Cancer Control Program at (800) 259-8794.

Featuring the theme “I am the Picture of Health,” the expo will include free health education and blood pressure screenings, live entertainment and more.

Prostate cancer screenings for men age 40 and older who qualify and mammograms for women age 40 and older who qualify will be available. Extended hours are offered for the screenings and preregistration is required in advance by calling (800) 259-8794.
