Sweet Chariot: A Journey Through the Underground Railroad
Sweet Chariot: A Journey Through the Underground Railroad will be hosted by the UALR Housing Activities Council from 6:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. Monday at UALR’s East Hall. The hall will be converted into a live action tour of the Underground Railroad. Tourist will experience black history, the road to civil rights and women's rights in honor of Black History Month and Women's History Month. Food will be served, poets and singers will person, and there will be a learning central of story time, crafts and activities for younger children.
