ARKANSAS CHORAL SOCIETY: The Arkansas Choral Society announce the rehearsal schedule and performance date for the 83rd annual presentation of Handel's oratorio “Messiah.” The rehearsals begin with registration at 6:30 p.m. in the choir room at St. James United Methodist Church, 321 Pleasant Valley Drive in Little Rock. According to Society president, Camille Ostergren, all singers are welcome and there are no auditions to join the group. The rehearsals will take place Monday evenings, 7-8:30 p.m. at St. James, through Dec. 2. The concert will take place Dec. 5 at the First Pentecostal Church in North Little Rock.
