Holiday Crafts Open House

he Plantation Agriculture Museum will be opening its grounds and buildings to the public for its fourth annual Holiday Crafts Open House on Saturday, December 20th from 10-4 pm. Enjoy making charming crafts with your family while sipping hot cocoa and nibbling on family favorite treats. Making memories are lifelong possessions that you can always carry home. Crafts and activities that can be taken home include: Holiday soap, raffia Christmas baskets, cotton boll angels, homemade Christmas cards, and Saint Nicholas okra ornaments. The museum’s annual Christmas graham-cracker house contest will be conducted while old-fashioned Christmas crafts and activities are presented to visitors. Feel free to also shop for unique gift items in the museum’s gift shop and storewide 20% discounts. Bring out your family to finish your last minute Christmas shopping, making crafts, and enjoying treats and activities. Admission to the museum and Christmas treats are free. Participation in the craft making is $3 per person for all five crafts or $10 for the entire family.
