With over 5,000 different wine grape varieties growing around the world, only about a dozen have risen to a status of being considered amazingly great. During this class, you’ll explore the basic profile of some of the world’s finest grapes and learn why some grapes make better wine than others. You will also learn the common tasting techniques used by winemakers, sommeliers, critics and other professionals. Join Wine Educator Lorri Hambuchen for an evening of enjoyment and exploration!
