Juneteenth Celebration of Freedom 2015

Join MTCC as we celebrate Juneteenth 2015! This annual commemoration of the end of slavery is a fun-filled event rooted in history and focused on the future. Juneteenth is a time for reflection and forward thinking. With a variety of entertainment throughout the day, this block party style celebration has something for everyone—live music, poetry, children’s activities, food trucks, non-profits, and vendor booths ranging from clothing to food. With over 1,000 people in attendance last year, there are opportunities for volunteers, sponsorships, and vendor space. Juneteenth is free and open to the public!
