PILGRIMAGE FOR PEACE 2015

A Pilgrimage for Peace, 2015, organized by a coalition of ecumenical faith and activist groups, will be held on Palm Sunday, March 29, at 2:00 P.M. Open to the public, participants will gather outside Heifer International Village, 1 World Avenue, Little Rock. Walkers will pass the Clinton Library and the River market, cross the Main Street Pedestrian Bridge to the Beacon of Peace and Hope, 110 Riverfront Drive, North Little Rock, located at the Arkansas Inland Maritime Museum. There, participants will gather for: A Remembrance Service at 3:00pm to “mourn the violence committed in our community, nation and world, and to walk together as active peacemakers.” The 30 minute Service will consist of prayers, reflections from scripture and literature, songs and a reading of the names of all victims of homicide in Pulaski County during the past year.
