Laura Terry’s paintings capture what she calls “ghosts,” or aspects of the Southern landscape that she believes often go unnoticed. She says, “There is no need to search far for these natural wonders, no need to look beyond the garden.” Terry borrows imagery from the natural world and infuses her painting with rich colors and textures.
