Brilliant fall foliage welcomes Bald Eagles as they return to Beaver Lake in northwest Arkansas for their winter habitat. The 19th annual Eagle Watch on Beaver Lake is set for Oct. 1-31 aboard the Belle of the Ozarks in Eureka Springs. Departures from Starkey Park take place at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Expert guides help passengers sight mature and immature eagles, and provide detailed information regarding America’s national bird. The boat has restrooms and concessions. It is closed on Thursdays. Admission is $20 for adults and $8 for children under 12. For groups the cost is $15 for 20 to 50 adults and $7 for children.
