Greg Thompson Fine Art to Host 15th Anniversary Exhibition North Little Rock, AR – Greg Thompson Fine Art is pleased to announce it has been in business for 15 years. On Friday, January 21, 2011 from 5-8 pm, Greg Thompson Fine Art will host the opening of a new group exhibition in celebration of its 15th Anniversary in conjunction with 3rd Friday Night Art Walk in the Argenta area of North Little Rock. Many of the artists featured will be present during the opening reception. The show will run through March 12, 2011 and will feature a number of works from artists with whom the gallery has represented over the last fifteen years. Artists included in this celebratory exhibition include Kendall Stallings, Benini, Glenray Tutor, William Dunlap, Barry Thomas, Gary Bolding and other well-known artists from the South. Greg Thompson Fine Art specializes in Southern Regionalism and works extensively with both private and public collectors around the world. This group celebratory exhibition will showcase some of the most popular and exceptional artists Greg Thompson Fine Art has had the privilege to represent during its fifteen years in business. “We are thrilled to be celebrating our 15th Anniversary with a group exhibition of this caliber,” says Greg Thompson, owner of Greg Thompson Fine Art. “The artists that we have represented over the last fifteen years are the best of the best in the South. All of these artists are included in museum collections and corporate collections throughout the South, and many are represented in collections around the world." Greg Thompson Fine Art, established in 1995, opened its public gallery space in June 2009. It is located at 429 Main Street in the historic Argenta area of North Little Rock that is quickly becoming the ‘art district’ of the greater Little Rock/North Little Rock area. The gallery is on the second floor of an historic building built in 1895 known as the Faucette Building. Thompson spent several months designing his new space to look, feel and operate with the integrity of similar galleries in New York, Paris and California. It boasts 18-foot ceilings, original hard wood floors, and clean white walls. “There is nothing like it in the state of Arkansas. It is quickly becoming a destination gallery for the South,” Thompson says. For more information about Greg Thompson Fine Art visit www.gregthompsonfineart.com.
