CLINTON PRESIDENTIAL CENTER DEBUTS NEWEST TEMPORARY EXHIBIT "The Art of the Brick" Celebrates the Unlimited Creative Potential of LEGO bricks WHAT: The Clinton Center debuts its newest temporary exhibit, "The Art of the Brick®," on Friday, Sept. 23, 2011. The exhibit features an astounding collection of sculptures created entirely out of LEGO® toy bricks. Lawyer-turned artist, Nathan Sawaya, dubbed the Picasso of LEGO bricks, will showcase his artistic masterpieces at the Clinton Center through Feb. 12, 2012. Additionally on display, the Clinton Presidential Center commissioned a series of exclusive original works of art, including replicas of the Clinton Presidential Center and the Clinton Presidential Bridge. "The Art of the Brick" is presented by 3M. MORE: The Center's exhibit grand opening will feature "Art of the Brick" artist Sawaya who will discuss how a childhood favorite became the inspiration and the medium for his amazing and intricate 3D artwork. After the program, guests are invited and encouraged to tour the new exhibit and attend a family friendly reception with light snacks and drinks.
