NATIVE ARKANSAS EXHIBITION: Native Arkansas will take visitors on a tour of the state at a time when Euro-Americans began to explore the territory that eventually became Arkansas at the Butler Center for Arkansas Studies. Vistitors will experience early Arkansas through the eyes of some of the first Euro-Americans to write about the state and will encounter some of the native flora, fauna, and geology of the state’s five geological regions. This is a free exhibit. The center’s hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and 1-5 p.m. Sundays. This exhibition will be available Oct. 11 through March 14.
