SAINT MARK’S EPISCOPAL CHURCH: Icons in Transformation is a stunning 150-piece traveling art exhibit featuring the contemporary works of abstract expressionist Ludmila Pawlowska. Modern 3-D art incorporates traditional icon elements — such as the use of eyes, metallic paints and the colors red, blue and gold — while at the same time bending the rules through the use of sculpture, collage, large-scale wood panels, natural stone, fabric and handwriting in multiple languages. The exhibit runs through Aug. 17. Viewing hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays; 6-7 p.m. Wednesdays; and 1-3 p.m. Sundays. For more information or to set up a viewing outside of those times, call (501) 225-4203.
