Chili with a Kick - Kickball Tournament and Chili Cookoff!

“Chili with a Kick” is an adult kickball tournament, Chili cook-off competition and family event benefiting the Youth Home, Inc. This is a draft style tournament in which players sign up to play and are then drafted onto teams by captains. The Draft will happen 2/16/11 at The Oyster Bar! The cost to play is $40 per player and that includes an EVENT SHIRT!!!! IF YOU PLAYED LAST YEAR, YOU KNOW WHAT A BLAST THIS IS GONNA BE! The fun starts Saturday, February 26th at Dickie-Stephen’s where tournament guests and friends of kickball can mix and mingle for a good cause. There will be a silent auction featuring chili mugs and beer steins hand-painted by many of the LRKA’s most beloved players and by local artists. The tournament will begin on Saturday, February 26th 2011 at 9 a.m. The teams will battle it out at Dickey- Stephen’s Park all day until there is only one team standing. As the tournament rolls on, local bands will play and a fun chili competition will take place, featuring many of Little Rock’s most well-renowned restaurateurs. Entry to the cook-off is $30 for one chili and $50 for two chilies. Admission for non-players to the event will be $10. The Big Red Ball Charitable Foundation is a non-profit 501 c (3) and all proceeds from this event will benefit Youth Home, Inc, a therapeutic treatment facility and family therapy clinic where teens and families find hope and healing.
