Mountain View welcomed many motorcycle enthusiasts to the area for the annual Mountains, Music and Motorcycles event Aug. 17-19. The event, which is a major fundraiser for Arkansas Bikers for Children, began six years ago and is sponsored by the Mountain View Chamber of Commerce. Mountains, Music and Motorcycles is operated and managed by volunteers. Activities for the weekend included a bug run, a poker run, a bike show, biker games and a pair of free concerts. Mountains, Music, and Motorcycles focuses on the fact that Mountain View and the region is a motorcycle destination for motorcycle enthusiasts from around the nation.
