Gallery: Lyon College Founders' Day
About this gallery:
Students, faculty, staff, administration, board of trustees, and special guests helped the Lyon College celebrate its Founders’ Day on Oct. 19. Former Lyon College President John Griffith gave the keynote address. The college, which was founded in 1872, also celebrated the opening of the new Edwards Commons. Construction of the new 44,000 square-foot center began in October 2011. The original Edwards Commons was destroyed by fire in October 2010. After the convocation, a ribbon-cutting and dedication ceremony were held.
