Lyon College’s annual Black Tie Blue Jeans Ball, held Feb. 22, attracted more than 300 attendees. The event at the Cow Palace at Chimney Rock in Concord raised more than $150,000 for student scholarships to the college through auction items and ticket sales. Musical entertainment for the evening was provided by a band of Lyon College musicians, The Fox Blossom Venture and Danny Dozier & The Lockhouse Orchestra.
