Habitat for Humanity of White County held an All American Cookout on July 13 at the Habitat Restore, 210 W. Mulberry St. in Searcy. The cookout was held to celebrate the success of Habitat for Humanity of White County and to kick off the Carpenter’s Club fundraiser. The Carpenter’s Club is an effort to provide a sustainable fundraiser for Habitat for Humanity. The ReStore is open Wednesday through Friday. Habitat has built homes and painted 70 others in the area, as part of Habitat’s Brush with Kindness program, Executive Director Rick Eichhorn said. For more information, visit habitatwhiteco.org.
