Delta Visual Arts Show, Newport

The sixth annual Delta Visual Arts Show was held Feb. 22 in downtown Newport. This year’s show featured 180 artists from five states and 60 Arkansas communities, primarily artists who grew up in the Delta, live or have lived in the Delta or who produce Delta-themed work. The visual art covers a broad range of media, including pottery, painting, jewelry and sculpture. The artwork was displayed at 11 locations in downtown Newport.
