Arkansas Zombie Challenge

The Arkansas Zombie Challenge 5K obstacle race was held Sept. 14 in Hector. The race, for runners age 14 and older, benefited the Court Appointed Special Advocates of the 5th Judicial District of Arkansas. Runners received three “life flags” that were attached to a belt worn around the waist, similar to flag football. The object of the race was to complete the court, going through 12 challenging obstacles and several infected zones, where Zombies attempted to take a lifeline flag off the runners’ belts.
