Kell Classic finals and awards

The Southside Batesville boys and the Bradford girls basketball teams played in the finals of the Kell Classic basketball tournament Jan. 10 in Swifton. Both teams finished as runners-up as the Southside Batesville Southerners lost to the Bay Yellowjackets 72-46 and the Bradford Lady Eagles lost to the Corning Lady Bobcats 55-44. After the tournament, awards were given to the winners, runners-up and All-Tournament Team members. The sportsmanship award was also presented. (Photos by Cheryl Mauldin/Contributing Photographer)
