Healing Hearts and Spirits

Joyce Raynor began the Center for Healing Hearts and Spirits more than a decade ago “to assist individuals in areas of violent crimes and chronic illness.” The charity group with a hand in everything from assault counseling and offering shelter to tobacco cessation and suicide prevention gave out a handful of awards at its gala Feb. 12 at the Holiday Inn Presidential Center.
