New Life Church-Cabot’s End of the Year Bash

The New Life Church-Cabot youth group — called Real Life — celebrated the end of the school year with an End of the Year Bash on June 3. The group consisted of approximately 100 students. The church is in the process of raising funds for a new building, and the End of the Year Bash was held on the land where the new church will be constructed off of West Main Street toward Arkansas 5. Students ate hamburgers and hot dogs and played Wiffle ball, volleyball, football and kickball. Toward the end of the evening, the eighth-graders, who recently joined the youth group, initiated a water-balloon fight.
