Arkansas Living Treasures

Opening night of the exhibit “Art. Function. Craft. The Life and Work of Arkansas Living Treasures” was July 10 at the Historic Arkansas Museum. Each Year year, the Arkansas Arts Council honors one of Arkansas’ the state’s outstanding traditional craftsman craftsmen who also works toward the preservation of their works to preserve his craft by naming him an Arkansas Living Treasure. The new exhibit includes his or her works along with breathtaking photographs by Kat Wilson of the artists in his/her studio.
