On Aug. 17 South on Main chef Matt Bell, his wife Amy and the staff of the restaurant prepared and served a much anticipated meal at the James Beard Foundation House in New York City, and the restaurant ran a live stream of the kitchen preparations for fans back at the restaurant to watch on a TV screen. Watch, and taste along — most of the attendees bought tickets to a fundraising supper back in June that included admittance to the watch party wherein appetizers and a specialty drink were complimentary.
