The North Little Rock Junior League

The North Little Rock Junior League invited its six new provisionals over to Debbie Horton’s house in the Indian Hills neighborhood Sept. 27 for a proper tea, Southern-style (a full lunch spread). The League has six new members, 35 active members and about 130 sustaining members. Once they’ve complied with the requirements for admission, provisionals are voted into “active” membership by the general membership. After six years as an active member, one becomes a sustainer, with all the privilages of membership without the compulsory monthly meetings.
