Broadway Bridge closing ceremony

Officials, residents and veterans gathered on the Broadway Bridge Wednesday morning for a decommissioning ceremony to mark the closure of the 93-year-old structure dedicated to those that served in World War I. A ceremonial bell rang eight times to mark the end of the bridge's lifespan. Military veterans stood shoulder to shoulder and passed a red, white and blue wreath down the line, and Commander R.D.
