Young at Heart

Armed with the theme “Young at Heart,” 15 artists were tasked with creating art for next year’s Heart Ball for the American Heart Association of Arkansas. After the art was unveiled at a cocktail reception Nov. 4 at Delta Trust and Bank, a jury deliberated to select the “signature artist.” Unable to pick just one, the jury selected two. Bob Snider of Hot Springs was selected for his work, Strong Hearts. The painting features five race horses and jockeys. Sandra Newberg was selected for her work, Group Picture. The painting shows seven Heart Ball Sweethearts.
