2018 Heart Ball

The theme for the 2018 Heart Ball for the American Heart Association was “Ignite Power” — and powerful it was. The evening, held March 10 at the Statehouse Convention Center, included a powerful video interview of event chairman Doris Washington and her daughters Stephanie and Sydnie. Washington agreed to chair the event with her husband, Oscar Washington. He died of a heart attack in the spring of 2017 before the couple could chair the event.
