The Department is proposing to renew the minor source general air permit for qualifying animal/human remains incinerator facilities (1976-AGP-000) located within the borders of the state of Arkansas. This is the third renewal of the permit. There is no change with this renewal.

This is to give notice that the Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ), Office of Water Quality, 5301 Northshore Drive, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72118-5317 at telephone number (501) 682-0623, proposes a draft issuance permit for which an application was received on January 5, 2016, with additional information received January 13, 2016 in accordance with Regulation No. 6.
Applicant: TA Operating, LLC - Petro Stopping Centers, LP #326, 3205 Valentine Road, North Little Rock, AR 72117, Southwest corner of the Galloway Exit (161) off of I-40; Latitude: 34° 46’ 51.8”; Longitude: 92° 07’ 43.6” in Pulaski County, Arkansas.
The discharge from this existing facility is made into unnamed tributary to Ink Bayou, thence to Lone Cypress Brake, thence to Hill Lake, thence to Faulkner Lake, and thence to Arkansas River. in Segment 3B of the Arkansas River Basin.
Proposed construction will replace the existing oil water separator with a 12,000 gallon oil water separator able to treat up to 3.456 MGD. Modification of the NPDES discharge permit is not required.
