NOTICE
Notice is hereby given by the City of Highfill, Arkansas (the "City") that the City proposes to issue its Water and Sewer Revenue and Sales and Use Tax Refunding Bonds in the maximum principal amount of $5,000,000 for the purpose of refunding the City's (a) Sales and Use Tax Bond, dated June 27, 2001; (b) Water Revenue Bond, Series 2004A; (c) Water Revenue Bond, Series 2004B; (d) Water Revenue Bond, Series 2004C; and (e) Sales and Use Tax and Sewer Revenue Bond, dated August 14, 2006. The bonds will be payable from (1) collections of a 1% sales and use tax levied by the City under Ordinance No. 95-3, adopted July 12, 1995, (2) collections of a 1% sales and use tax levied by the City under Ordinance No. 02-06, adopted June 24, 2002 and (3) revenues derived from the operation of the City's water and sewer (combined) system. A public hearing concerning the proposed issuance of the bonds will be held by the City Council at 6:30 o'clock p.m. on the 10th day of March, 2015, at the regular meeting place of the Council, 15036 W. City Of Bentonville
The City of Bentonville will hold a public hearing to receive public comment on the proposed 2015 Annual Action Plan for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program.
Comments received will be considered as part of the development of the proposed 2015 Annual Action Plan for the city's Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. It is estimated that the city will receive $160,210 in 2015 CDBG funds.
The 2015 Annual Action Plan will be available for public review and comment from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm starting Monday, February 23rd and ending on Monday, March 9th at the Community Development Building located at 305 SW "A" Street, 2nd floor.
The public hearing for the 2015 CDBG Annual Action Plan is scheduled for Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at 5:00 pm during the regularly scheduled Planning Commission meeting held in the Community Development Building located at 305 SW "A" Street.
