The Board of Commissioners, Central Arkansas Water, has set a public hearing for Tuesday, June 10, 2014, at 2:00 p.m., to present and receive public comments on a resolution authorizing the issuance of refunding water revenue bonds in the approximate total principal amount of $15,000,000 (the "Bonds"). The Board of Commissioners has determined that significant debt service savings may be realized through the refunding of its outstanding Water Revenue Bonds, Series 2004. The proceeds of the Bonds will be used to refund the Series 2004 Bonds, fund a debt service reserve, and pay the cost of issuance of the Bonds. The Bonds will be secured by and payable from revenues of the consolidated water system in the cities of Little Rock, Arkansas and North Little Rock, Arkansas.
The meeting location is the Third Floor Conference Room at the James T. Harvey Administration Building of Central Arkansas Water at 221 East Capitol Avenue in Little Rock, Arkansas. At the hearing, all objections, comments, questions, and other matters relevant to the issuance of the Bonds by Central Arkansas Water will be heard, and the Board of Commissioners will take such action as is deemed proper.

Notice of Hearing to Accept Comments on Proposed Revision of The Arkansas Natural
Resources Commission's Rules Governing Public Water
Authorities (Title 17)
Pursuant to the Arkansas Administrative Procedure Act, ANRC proposes to revise its rules governing public water authorities, Title 17. ANRC is revising its rules to include public entities providing sewer services or collecting solid and industrial waste among those entities eligible to convert or transfer to a water authority.Revisions also emphasize that an entity providing water or sewer service must obtain separate approval of its service area through ANRC's water plan compliance procedures (Title 6).
A public hearing on the draft rules will be held June 11, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. at the address below. Oral and written comments will be accepted at the hearing. In the interest of accuracy, written statements are preferred and will be considered if received by June 24, 2014, at 4:30 p.m. These rules are posted on ANRC's website at http://www.anrc.arkansas.gov/ or may be requested at the number below.
