State Technical Committee Meeting

The Northwest Arkansas Regional Planning Commission (NWARPC) is inviting public comment on the Northwest Arkansas Regional Transportation Study (NARTS) Draft Public Participation Plan (PPP). The Draft PPP has been developed to ensure that the transportation process conducted by the NWARPC complies with federal requirements for public involvement and participation. The 47-day public comment period will run from Wednesday, August 27, 2014 through Monday, October 13, 2014. The Arkansas Department of Health's planning process seeks public input on maternal and child health programs, policies and issues as part of its preparation for submitting the FFY-2015 Maternal & Child Health Block Grant application. The Arkansas Department of Health will hold a public hearing on Thursday, September 4, 2014 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in Board Room #906, Freeway Medical Building, 5800 West 1oth Street, Little Rock, Arkansas at which time all interested persons will be heard. Parents, families and community agencies are strongly encouraged to participate in the process.
It is requested that statements relative to any aspect of the FFY-2015 Maternal Child Health Block Grant application be submitted in writing at the time of the hearing date to: Bradley Planey, MS, MA, Arkansas Department of Health, 4815 West Markham, Slot 16, Little Rock, Arkansas 72205.
