INTENDED USE PLAN (IUP)
The Arkansas Natural Resources Commission (Commission) has prepared the State Fiscal Year 2018 Amended Safe Drinking Water Fund (SDWF) and the Amended Clean Water Revolving Loan Fund (CWRLF) Intended Use Plan (IUP) for the U. S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
The CWRLF IUP covers the potential projects of public wastewater system construction and other eligible projects funded by the Arkansas CWRLF, a priority system and priority listing of projects for the coming State Fiscal Year.
The SDWF IUP covers the potential projects of public drinking water system construction and other eligible projects funded by the Arkansas SDWF, a priority system and priority listing of projects for the coming State Fiscal Year. Also, the EPA provides funds for the set-aside programs administered by the Arkansas Department of Health (Department) and the use of those funds are included in the SDWF IUP.
To ensure the public has an opportunity to review and provide input on the IUP, the draft IUP will be made available to the public through notification in a state wide newspaper and posting to the ANRC website at:
http://www.anrc.arkansas.gov/divisions/water-resources-development/
Written comments on the proposed document and any requests for a public hearing should be sent to ANRC by close of business November 24, 2017. Instructions for written comments and in what manner to request a public hearing will be available on the ANRC website.
A public hearing on the proposed document will be held if ANRC receives such a request from twenty-five (25) people, a governmental agency or subdivision, or an association having not less than twenty-five (25) members. If a public hearing is held, a public notice will be published announcing the date, time and place of such hearing.

The meeting will begin at 10:00 a.m. The meeting will be held at the Arkansas School for the Deaf, located at
2400 W Markham St, Little Rock, AR 72205, in the Outreach Building on the east edge of the Arkansas School for the Deaf campus. The building is the first building on the right when entering the campus in the eastern most entrance under the metal archway. This Arkansas School for the deaf metal archway goes over the entrance with parking on the left of the street and the outreach building on the right.
