BENTON - Gayle Felton will be the preacher at the William Preaching Series held today through Tuesday at the First United Methodist Church.
Felton is an elder in the North Carolina Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church.
She has a bachelor of arts degree from North CarolinaWesleyan College where she majored in American history. Her master of divinity is from Duke Divinity School.
Services will be held at 8:15 a.m., 9 a.m., 11 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Sunday, as well as at 12 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday.
A light luncheon will be served at 11:30 a.m. on Mondayand Tuesday, and again at 12:30 p.m., allowing a choice of times to eat best-suited to one's working schedule.
A nursery will be provided for all services.
