LITTLE ROCK — Barbara Jean's, the upscale women's store, celebrated "35 years of chic," as the birthday cake proclaimed at a reception Sept. 26 at the store. Around the layers of the cake, decorated inblack and white, were the labels of the store's brands.
Customers and friends greeted co-founder Barbara Baber and Stephen Chaffin, the son of Jean Chaffin Cross, theother co-founder, and his wife, Tricia. Christine Bailey and Greer Grace are co-owners of the store.
