BENTON - Saline County Judge Lanny Fite recently signed a proclamation for the Saline County Legal Support Professionals to declare Monday, Oct. 15, through Friday, Oct. 19, as "Court Observance Week" in Saline County.
The Saline County Legal Support Professionals is a local chapter of the Association for Arkansas Legal Support Professionals and they have initiated an educational program to increase opportunities for legal support staff to observe and learn about courtroom proceedings.
Their main purpose is to increase the skill, competence and usefulness of legal support staff so they may better serve their employers.
Present at the proclamation signing were Linda Dyer, local chapter secretary; Donna Holloway, local chapter treasurer; and Martha Cox, chapter president.
