Pet of the week

LITTLE ROCK — Pet of the Week Hansel is our pet of the week. He is a handsome feline fellow with gray and white fur and amber eyes. He has a spunky personality and loves to chat. His favorite activities are watching birds, exploring and carrying on a conversation with his human friends. He also likes other cats.

Canine Close-Up Rosie is an energetic 2-year-old with a lustrous copper-colored coat. This friendly girl loves everyone she meets. She likes to play, so she needs a canine friend in her new home. Her two favorite games are fetch and keepaway.

Kennedy is a 1 1/2-year-old weimaraner/yellow Labrador retriever mix who weighs 45 pounds. This happy, social boy loves to be around people and other dogs. His nickname is "Mr. Wiggles" because he can't hold still when he's happy.

Yancey is a calm, gentle hound dog who charms everyone he meets. His favorite activities are walks around the neighborhood, car rides and ear rubs. He's happiest spending time with people he loves.

Featured Felines Pretty Kitty is a dainty 3-year-old Balinese with a gentle temperament. She has long, champagne-colored furwith chocolate markings, a luxurious tail plume and sapphire eyes.

Brooks

is a big, handsome sweetheart. His laid-back personality makes it easy for him to get along with both cats and people. He also loves scratches and head rubs.

Jake

is a gentle giant. This big orange cat loves to be petted and purrs when touched. Other cats love him, and he's been described as a surrogate daddy.

Riley

is an adorable gray tabby kitty with green eyes. He is around 1. He's a very playful boy who gets along well with other cats.

Kirby

is a petite guy with black fur and a white patch on his chest. He loves to cuddle and will spend many hours warming laps. He also gets along well with other cats.

Kelsey

looks very much like Kirby, with short black fur and a white patch on his chest. He has a gentle temperament and enjoys affection. His unusual meow sounds like the chirp of a bird.

Pretty Baby

is a gorgeous girl with long orange fur and green eyes. She is very affectionate and sweet. She also enjoys the company of other cats.
