— Flinging of chair led to knifing, police say

A North Little Rock man was arrested Friday night after repeatedly stabbing a man who hit him with a plastic chair, police said.

Lloyd Fentry, 41, of 1812 W. 44th St., Apartment 4, was arrested outside his home on a charge of felony first-degree battery.

Police say Fentry stabbed Tim Harper, whose address and age were not available, after Harper hit Fentry in the left arm with a plastic chair.

Harper was stabbed six times in the back and stomach, according to police reports. He was taken to UAMS Medical Center for surgery.

His condition was not known Saturday night, and a spokesman for the hospital did not return a call.
