Nancy Greer-Williams, a candidate for the position of director of the Arkansas Department of Higher Education, is working toward a master of public health degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. A story in Sunday's editions incorrectly said she held the degree. She also holds a doctoral degree from Western Michigan University.

Ken Hechler is the World War II historian and author who spoke at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock on Wednesday. His last name was misspelled in an item published Wednesday about his UALR appearance.
