LITTLE ROCK — The Volunteers in Public Schools program in the Little Rock School District is seeking volunteers to read in elementary school classrooms on Nov. 13.
The goal of the Volunteers in Public Schools program is to have one volunteer reader in every elementary classroom on that day. Volunteers can read their favorite children's stories or choose a book to read from the school library, the school district said.
Volunteers should register by Tuesday at www.lrsd.org or by calling the office of the Volunteers in Public Schools program at 447-4450.
