ARKADELPHIA — Arkadelphia police have arrested a former nursing home employee who is accused of setting a fire in a laundry room and for calling 911 with threats of hurting nursing home residents.
Officers allege 20-year-old Chris Dewayne Harris set a linen cart on fire Wednesday at the Golden Living Center. Police also found two cafeteria windows broken with a large rock.
Police say employees at the home told investigators that Harris' voice sounded like the person's who made threats against the home in calls to police.
Officers say a voice stress test shows Harris made the calls. Harris faces arson and terroristic threatening charges.
