Glen Rose warms up for big game

GLEN ROSE - Glen Rose avoided the trap Friday, rolling to a 35-6 victory over Little Rock Episcopal at Glen Rose Beaver Stadium.

The trap could have come in looking ahead to next week's 3A-8 Conference showdown with Bauxite. Instead, Glen Rose (9-0, 6-0) took a 35-0 halftime lead and was never challenged. The Arkansas Activities Association's sportsmanship rule, allowing for a running clock in a game with a 35-point margin, kicked in at the start of the second half.
