BENTON - Downtown Benton will be the site of a Halloween event from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
The event, called Spook City, will be five blocks of "treats" and activities for children.
There will also be a performance by Ricky Tripp, a kids costume show.
There will be a free 7 p.m. showing of excerpts from The Canterville Ghost - performed with special effects.
There will be no entry fee for the event, but amusement rideson Sevier Street will cost from $1-$3. Food and drinks will also be available.
The event is sponsored by the Benton Advertising and Promotion Commission and Regions Bank and endorsed by the Benton Police Department.
