WHITNEY TUCKER HAMILTON BRADLEY FOWLKES DONNELLY

— The ballroom at the Country Club of Little Rock was the setting at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, for the marriage of Whitney Tucker Hamilton and Bradley Fowlkes Donnelly. Mayor Mark Stodola officiated.

Parents of the bride are Sonya Treidel Hamilton and Robert Eric Hamilton, both of Little Rock. Her grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. Harry Joseph Treidel of Long Beach, Calif., and the late Dr. and Mrs. Wilburn Marion Hamilton of Little Rock.

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Fowlkes Donnelly of Cary, N.C., are the parents of the bridegroom. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Joseph Chapman of LaBelle, Fla., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Dennis James Donnelly of Cary.

Vows were exchanged under a georgette chuppah decorated with smilax vines. Music was by the Jarboe String Quartet.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an ivory silk taffeta gown. The fitted ruched halter-style bodice had a V-neckline embellished with a crystal and pearl brooch. The trumpet skirt extended from a dropped waistline to a chapel-length train. Her double-layer veil of ivory silk illusion had a scalloped edge and was accented with gold embroidery, pearls, crystals and bugle beads in a floral pattern. She carried a gathered clutch bouquet of ivory and white garden roses.

Maid of honor was Lauren Brooke Riggan of Aberdeen, N.C., and matron of honor was Mrs. John Ryan Dawson of Little Rock. Bridesmaids were Brittany Renea Briley of Asheville, N.C.; Miriam Joyce Solomon of Phoenix; Meredith Jeta Donovan and Lydia Eileen Frost, both of Brooklyn, N.Y.; and Elizabeth Grant McCarty of Washington. They wore gowns of camel-colored tissue taffeta with halter-style bodices, ruched Empire waistlines and trumpet skirts. Their bouquets were filled with ivory and white roses and hydrangeas.

Flower girls were Hannah Grace Cutler of Oak Park, Ill., and Olivia McKaley Dolan of Hot Springs. Ring bearer was Graham Michael Dolan, also of Hot Springs.

The father of the bridegroom served as best man. Groomsmen were Ryan Chapman Donnelly of Cary, brother of the bridegroom; Jeffrey August Raub of Beaufort, N.C.; Joab Cotton IV of Pinehurst, N.C.; Arthur Blake Parrish of Chicago; and Eric Walker Hamilton and Cory Walker Hamilton, both of Nashville and cousins of the bride.

Assisting with the wedding were Johanna Ruth Upson, Madeline Jane Upson, Jeb Harrison Upson and Stuart Michael Upson, all of Little Rock.

A buffet supper at the club followed the ceremony. Guest tables covered in sable and bronze silk held a mixture of tall and low glass vases filled with roses, hydrangeas, Dendrobium orchids and Casablanca lilies accented with Bells of Ireland. The buffet tables, covered with sable taffeta, were framed with four pedestals holding oversized garden urn arrangements. Other tables held large silver candelabra accented with wedding flowers and smilax. Music was by The Rockets.

The bride has a bachelor's degree in interior design from Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, N.C. She was a member of Alpha Xi Delta.

The bridegroom has a bachelor's degree in business administration from Western Carolina. He was a member of Kappa Alpha. He is a sales executive with Patten Caterpillar in Chicago.

After a wedding trip to St. Lucia, the couple will live in Chicago.
